Character Background and Description
The fact that time passes differently between the realms does not help Luradin's tendency to see events from 400 years ago as recent, yet somehow think three weeks is eternity. Sometimes he loses himself in his tree-shaping and ten years pass by, while other times he seeks out every gate to the human world to view its wonders.

Luradin is skilled in the art of making-things-be, and uses this to shape landscapes into works of beauty. Vines braid themselves into tapestries and trees grow into furniture, all of it alive, blossoming with strange fruits and impossible flowers; stones reshape themselves to produce music in the wind, and every song is complex and unique. When worlds overlap in his gardens, his shaping of them are among the biggest sources of wonder for humans.

As one who creates impressionist music through nature and magic, Luradin is confused by modern human music and the mechanisms through which it plays. Finally realizing there are no traces of iron in human playback systems, Luradin taken to observing them, trying to understand how plastic circles of the same exact shape can produce different sounds, and wondering how the rest of the mechanism gleans music from it. Understanding electronics is as confusing as our understanding of his shaping of nature.
